What we keep, and why.
You are trusting us with the details of your day before you have even met us. The least we owe you is a plain account of what happens to them. No legal fog — just what we collect, where it sits, and how long it stays.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into the booking enquiry form on our contact page. There is no account to create and nothing is collected from you simply for reading this site.
- Your name or names
- Your email address
- Your phone number, including the country dialling code
- Whether that number is also your WhatsApp number
- The type of event, and your own description if you choose “Others”
- The date you are planning for
- The location, and your own description if it is not listed
- Whatever you write in the message box
- That you ticked the consent box
We also record whether the WhatsApp hand-off actually opened. That single detail changes how we follow up — it tells us whether you have already messaged us or are waiting to hear back.
What we collect automatically
When you submit the form, we store the IP address it came from and your browser's user-agent string. These are kept to stop abuse of the form — nothing else. They are not used to profile you, and they are not business data.
They are erased after 90 days. Your enquiry itself stays; the forensic details do not.
What we do not do
This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party trackers. We do not set cookies on the public site. We do not sell, rent, or share your details with anyone for marketing.
The only cookie this site can set belongs to the studio's own admin sign-in, and it is never set for visitors.
Why we keep it
To reply to your enquiry, work out availability, and quote for your day. That is the whole purpose. If you asked us about a wedding, we use your details to talk to you about that wedding.
To stop the same enquiry being saved twice by an accidental double submission, we keep a one-way scrambled fingerprint of your email and phone number for 24 hours. It is deliberately built so your address and number cannot be read back out of it, and it is discarded after that window.
How long we keep it
Your enquiry is kept as a business record. When we close or archive it, it is marked as closed rather than erased, so we keep an honest history of the work we were asked about.
If you would like your enquiry removed, ask us and we will delete it. Contact details are below.
Where it is stored
Your details are stored using Google's Firebase platform, in Google Cloud's Mumbai (asia-south1) region. To be plain about it: that means your information is held on servers in India, not in Nepal.
The website itself is served by Vercel. If you choose to continue a conversation on WhatsApp, that conversation happens on WhatsApp and is subject to their terms, not ours.
Who can see it
Only studio staff with an admin account, and only those whose role grants access to enquiries. Every sign-in is individual — there is no shared password — and every action taken on an enquiry is recorded in an audit log that staff cannot delete.
Asking us about your information
Write to us through the contact page and tell us what you would like — a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. Please write from the address you used to enquire, so we can tell it is you.
If we change how any of this works, we will change this page to match it.
